Chocolate Oats

Recipe (serves 2):

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 cups milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon vanilla maple syrup
  • Toppings: fruit, nut butter
Directions: Add all ingredients into a medium sauce pan and whisk until combined. Place on stove over medium heat and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally so they do not stick.  Cook until all liquid is absorbed. Serve immediately with toppings of choice. Refrigerates well for up to 4 days
