Hi everyone! I’m Melissa, a registered dietitian and creator of The Nourished Fork! Here you will find my love of cooking and baking combined with my passion for all things nutrition!
The reason I went into nutrition is because of my love of both cooking and baking. I used to run “science experiments” in my kitchen growing up, swapping out unhealthy ingredients for more nutritious alternatives (sorry Mom for the mess!). On this page you will find just that- simple ingredient swaps to make some of your favorite foods a bit healthier! I also believe in balance and will show you that you can enjoy your favorite foods while still feeling your best!
Currently I work full time as a clinical dietitian at a hospital in Philly, where I take care of liver transplant patients. Cooking is my stress relief after a long day at work and also my creative outlet. I am so excited to have you join me in this adventure! Xoxo Melissa
